Workers Compensation Commission

The Workers Compensation Commission of NSW seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for appointment to the position of Deputy President.

 

The Deputy President will principally be responsible for hearing and determining appeals from the decisions of the Commission’s arbitrators.

An attractive salary package is offered. Appointment will be for a term of up to 7 years, with eligibility for reappointment.

Applicants are eligible for appointment if a current or former judicial officer, or an Australian lawyers of at least 5 years’ standing. Current and extensive knowledge of the NSW workers compensation legislation is highly desirable.

 The Workers Compensation Commission of NSW seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for appointment to the position of Arbitrator.

 

Arbitrators assist in resolving workers compensation disputes through conciliation and arbitration. Arbitrators will be located in Sydney and regional areas. Some country travel may be required.

Full-time and sessional appointments will be offered for terms of up to 5 years, with eligibility for reappointment. An attractive salary package is offered.
